About Me
Hi, I’m Jennifer Anderson! I’m an independent digital marketing and SEO expert who is passionate about helping small businesses grow. My digital marketing journey began in 2001 in Portland, Oregon, where I worked as the Online Marketing Manager for a craft supplies e-commerce company and later for Hanna Andersson, a premium children's clothing brand. Over 15 years, I managed SEO, Google Ads, email marketing, social media, advertising and website optimization projects.
After moving to Bend, Oregon in 2015, I joined a search marketing agency as an SEO Specialist, helping businesses of all sizes across e-commerce, B2B, and B2C industries. Around that time, I also began working with freelance clients, and in 2018 Mountain Heights Marketing was born.
Through this experience, I discovered my true passion: helping small businesses, entrepreneurs, and e-commerce brands grow their online presence. I love digging into a client's website and brand story, uncovering opportunities, and using both creativity and data to make an impact. In 2025, I took the leap and made Mountain Heights Marketing my full-time focus.
When I’m not geeking out over SEO and digital marketing strategy, you’ll find me outside with my husband and two kids — skiing, hiking, golfing, paddleboarding, or exploring beautiful Central Oregon.
The Story Behind the Name
Mountains have been part of my story from the very beginning. I was born in Colorado near the Grand Mesa, grew up on a cattle ranch with a view of Mt. Shasta, and later followed the Cascade Range north to attend business school at the University of Oregon. My marketing career began in Portland, with Mt. Hood as my backdrop, and now I’m lucky to call Bend, Oregon home, surrounded by Mt. Bachelor and the Three Sisters.
Mountains have always inspired me. They represent growth, perspective, and determination — values that shape how I approach both marketing and business. That’s why I named my company Mountain Heights Marketing. Every client’s journey is its own climb, with unique goals, challenges, and milestones along the way. My role is to help chart the path, guide the process, and celebrate each step toward the summit.
